The AVMatrix HVS0401E is a compact 4-channel Full-HD video mixer for live production, streaming and recording. It combines HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, program output, multiview, USB video output, RTMP streaming and recording to USB storage or SD card in a single device.
The video mixer processes HDMI signals up to 1920x1080/60p. An additional DisplayPort input is available as an alternative to one of the HDMI inputs. The program output supports Full HD up to 1080/60p.
Via USB Type-C, the AVMatrix HVS0401E is recognised by the computer as a UVC/UAC source and can therefore be used directly with software such as OBS, vMix or XSplit. In addition, the integrated RTMP encoder enables direct streaming to supported platforms.
The AVMatrix HVS0401E supports streaming via RTMP and enables direct recording to USB storage or SD card. Recording is done in H.264 or H.265 at up to 32 Mbit/s.
This makes the mixer suitable for productions where live output, streaming and simultaneous recording are required in a compact setup.
For live production, smooth dissolves, wipe transitions and fade-to-black are available. The HVS0401E also supports picture-in-picture with freely selectable position and size.
Operation can be performed on the device itself or via a web browser. The tally output can signal the active camera in suitable multi-camera setups.
The metal housing protects the AVMatrix HVS0401E during daily use. Thanks to its compact form factor, the video mixer is suitable for mobile productions, small control rooms, conferences, worship services, training sessions and online productions.
