The LINSN TS802, also referred to as TS802D, is a PCI sending card for controlling LINSN LED walls. It is installed in a PC system and converts a DVI video signal into digital LED control signals for compatible LINSN receiver cards. The card is suitable for full-color LED displays as well as single- and dual-color LED displays.
The TS802 features one DVI video input, one audio input, and two network outputs for connecting to LED receiver cards. Each network port supports up to 655,360 pixels. In total, one TS802 sending card can drive up to 1,310,720 pixels, depending on resolution, refresh rate, and the configuration of the LED system.
The LINSN TS802 supports both 60 Hz and 30 Hz output modes. In 60 Hz mode, typical reference resolutions of up to 2048 × 640 pixels are possible. In 30 Hz mode, wider configurations can be achieved, for example up to 4032 × 512 pixels. The actual usable resolution depends on the LED wall, the receiver cards, and the system configuration.
For larger LED walls, multiple TS802 sending cards can be cascaded. According to the manufacturer, up to four cards can be operated together to drive larger display areas. Setup and configuration is carried out via USB using the appropriate LINSN software.
The TS802 supports the transmission of audio data. In addition, manual brightness adjustment is possible when the card is used with a suitable external box. Brightness levels with 16, 32, or 64 steps can be used.

Questions & Answers▲
What type of interface does the LINSN TS802 use to connect to a PC?
The LINSN TS802 is a PCI card that is installed directly into a PCI slot of a PC system. It receives the video signal via a DVI input and outputs digital LED control signals through its two network ports.
How many pixels can the LINSN TS802 drive in total?
The TS802 can drive up to 1,310,720 pixels in total. Each of the two network ports supports up to 655,360 pixels. The actual number of usable pixels depends on the resolution, refresh rate, and overall configuration of the LED system.
What output refresh rates does the TS802 support?
The card supports both 60 Hz and 30 Hz output modes. In 60 Hz mode, resolutions of up to 2048 × 640 pixels are typical. In 30 Hz mode, wider configurations such as 4032 × 512 pixels can be achieved.
Can multiple TS802 cards be used together for larger LED walls?
Yes, up to four TS802 sending cards can be cascaded to drive larger LED display areas. This allows significantly more pixels to be controlled across a single installation.
How is the TS802 configured and set up?
Configuration and setup are carried out via USB using the appropriate LINSN software. The card must be installed in a compatible PC system before software-based configuration can take place.
Is the TS802 compatible with both full-color and single-color LED displays?
