The Lilliput Q13-8K is a high-resolution 13.3" production monitor developed specifically for professional camera operators and video cameras. With its native 4K resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and the ability to process 8K signals via 12G-SDI, this production monitor is ideally suited for professional video post-production and film production. The 16:9 display offers a brightness of 300cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, enabling precise image evaluation even under demanding lighting conditions.
At the heart of the Q13-8K is 12G-SDI technology, which combines four 4K 60Hz video signals into a single 8K 60Hz video signal via a Quad-Link 12G-SDI connection. The monitor features four 12G-SDI inputs and outputs as well as HDMI 2.0 In/Out for maximum compatibility with professional cameras and production environments. In addition, a 12G SFP+ interface with an optional fiber module is available, enabling flexible cabling in larger production setups.
The monitor supports HDR standards ST2084-300/1000/10000/HLG and offers dedicated calibration for precise reproduction of image colors. Color calibration follows the ColourSpace CMS by Light Illusion standard and supports over 90% of the DCI-P3 color space. Various calibrated color spaces such as Rec.709, NTSC and DCI-P3 can be selected. An integrated 3D LUT system with 17 predefined and 6 user-defined look-up tables enables creative image processing and professional grading workflows.
The Q13-8K offers a Quad Split multiview function that enables simultaneous display of multiple input signals from 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 and 12G SFP+. Four dedicated buttons allow quick switching between different input signals. Professional monitoring tools such as Waveform, False Color, Audio Vector (Lissajous), Focus Peaking and Histogram assist with precise image analysis and quality control during recording and post-production.
For professional broadcast and production environments, the monitor offers remote control functions via RS422 In/Out as well as a LAN connection. A dedicated remote control application enables control of the monitor via computer applications and synchronization of multiple monitors. The robust housing is rack-compatible and fits perfectly into a 19-inch cabinet. With various mounting options such as Base Mount, Gimbal Bracket or Rack Mount Bracket, the monitor can be flexibly integrated into a variety of production setups.
The monitor features F1–F4 user-definable buttons for quick access to auxiliary functions such as Peaking, Underscan and Checkfield. A rotary control enables intuitive adjustment of sharpness, saturation, hue and volume. Power is supplied via 12–24V DC with a maximum consumption of 36W, with both V-Lock and Anton Bauer battery mounting supported. The monitor operates in a temperature range of 0°C to 50°C and weighs just 2.4kg with compact dimensions of 340×232.8×46mm.
