Questions & Answers▲
How many people can communicate with the system at the same time?
The system is designed for four people who can talk to each other at the same time and in real time. Up to eight participants can be connected via two channels, or all up to 16 users can share a common channel.
Does a talk button have to be pressed to communicate?
No, the system works in full duplex operation. All participants can speak and listen freely at any time without having to press a button. This keeps your hands free and enables more fluid work processes.
What is the maximum range of the system?
The maximum range is up to 914 meters. The actual range may vary depending on environmental conditions, obstacles and radio exposure.
How long does the battery last during use?
The batteries offer a running time of up to 10 hours. Since the batteries can be changed quickly, operation can be continued during longer periods of use without major interruptions.
What frequency does the system use and how is it protected against interference?
The system works in the 2.4 GHz band between 2407 MHz and 2475MHz. Through Active Frequency Hopping, the system automatically changes the frequency to minimize interference and disturbances from other radio devices.
What is included in the scope of delivery?
The scope of delivery includes a master single headset, three remote single headsets, four batteries, a 10-fold charger and a soft case included.
How heavy are the headsets and how comfortable are they to wear during long periods of use?
The total weight of the headset is 215 g. The one-sided design leaves one ear free so that ambient noise can still be heard. This contributes to a comfortable fit even when used for several hours.
For which areas of application is the system particularly suitable?
The system is suitable for film productions with camera, direction, sound and assistance, for streaming productions with several workstations, for stage and Light coordination as well as for communication at events and trade fairs.
Can the system also be used in industrial environments?
Yes, the system is also suitable for industrial applications with several spatially separated work areas, where several people communicate in a coordinated manner and in real time
What type of modulation is used?
The system uses the modulation type FLRC (Fast Long Range Communication), which ensures stable and fast data transmission in the 2.4 GHz band possible.
How many channels are available and how can they be used?
There are two channels available. Each channel supports up to eight participants, allowing two separate groups to communicate independently. Alternatively, a shared channel can be used for up to 16 users.
How is the charger used and how many batteries can be charged at the same time?
The scope of delivery includes a 10-fold charger with which up to ten batteries can be charged at the same time. This means that sufficiently charged replacement batteries are always available for longer production days.
How does the master headset differ from the remote headsets?
The master headset serves as the central unit of the system and can be used, among other things, for channel management. The three remote headsets are the devices of the other participants. In everyday life, all four headsets communicate with each other equally.
