Questions & Answers

What input connections does the FV-DVP-604B support?

The FV-DVP-604B accepts signals via HDMI, DVI, VGA, composite and USB inputs, allowing a wide variety of video sources to be connected and processed without additional adapters in most standard setups.

How many outputs does the processor provide?

The unit is equipped with two DVI outputs. These can be used to feed LED wall sending cards or connected displays directly, making it suitable for both single and split-screen LED wall configurations.

What is the maximum output resolution supported?

The processor supports custom output resolutions up to 3840×640 pixels. This makes it particularly well suited for wide-format and panoramic LED wall installations where non-standard resolutions are required.

Does the FV-DVP-604B support seamless switching between sources?

Yes, seamless switching is supported. Source transitions occur without visible interruption or black frames, which is essential for live event and presentation environments where uninterrupted display output is required.

Is a picture-in-picture function available?

Yes, the device includes a picture-in-picture function. A secondary video source can be displayed as an overlay within the main output image, which is useful for presentations, broadcast applications and live events.

Can the output image be frozen or blanked quickly during operation?

Both functions are available. The freeze function holds the current output frame as a still image, while the black screen function blanks the output at the press of a button. Both are useful for presenter transitions or technical adjustments during live use.

Does the processor save settings automatically after configuration?

Yes, all settings are saved automatically. This ensures that the configured parameters are retained after a power cycle, which reduces setup time in recurring installation and rental scenarios.

Is the FV-DVP-604B suitable for use with multiple synchronized processors?

Yes, the device supports frame synchronisation when used alongside multiple units. This makes it a practical choice for larger LED installations where several processors need to operate in sync across a combined display surface.

What image quality options are available for fine-tuning the output?

The processor includes ACC and ACM image filters that allow the output image quality to be optimised. These filters help to reduce artifacts and improve overall visual clarity depending on the source material and display characteristics.

Does the device offer any access protection?

Yes, password protection is available. This allows operators to restrict access to the configuration menu, which is particularly relevant in rental or multi-user environments where unintended setting changes need to be prevented.

Is there a backup function in case the primary signal source is lost?

Yes, signal source backup is supported. If the primary input signal is interrupted, the processor can automatically switch to a defined backup source, helping to maintain continuous output during live events or permanent installations.

Is the FV-DVP-604B compatible with LED wall sending cards?

Yes, the two DVI outputs are designed to work with LED wall sending cards. This allows the processor to be integrated directly into LED wall signal chains without additional conversion hardware in most standard configurations.

For which application areas is this processor most appropriate?

The device is designed for professional use in fixed installations, event technology, rental applications and presentation systems. Its combination of flexible input support, custom resolution output and professional switching features makes it applicable across a broad range of LED wall and display environments.
