The VariZoom VZROCK is one of the most commonly used LANC remote controls for Control of video cameras. It enables precise control of zoom, focus and recording functions and is compatible with numerous camera models from Sony, Canon, JVC as well as selected Panasonic models.
The pressure-sensitive zoom rocker with a large control path enables particularly fine and uniform zoom movements. The side “broadcast” design allows smooth zoom movements as well as quick adjustments during recording.

What is LANC and which cameras are compatible?
LANC (also called Control-L or CTRL-L) is a control protocol for video cameras. The device is compatible with LANC-enabled cameras from Sony, Canon, Panasonic and JVC, including Sony PXW-FS7, NEX-FS700, HXR-NX5R, Panasonic AG-CX350 and many other models.
Which functions can I control with the rear camera control?
The operation allows you to control zoom, focus and aperture. In addition, it offers functions such as fast forward and rewind for cassette devices, autofocus on/off and information display on/off.
How does the zoom control work?
The zoom is controlled via a large rocker, which enables precise and comfortable operation.
How is the sharpness adjusted?

The function cannot be guaranteed for cameras with a micro USB connection. However, if the camera manual says "Multi/Micro USB Socket - Supports Micro USB compatible devices" and an adapter cable is used, it will work.
