The Lilliput AD15 is a rugged 15.6-inch industrial touch monitor for professional control, visualization, and interaction applications. The Full HD display with 1920 × 1080 pixels, a brightness of up to 1000 nits, and capacitive 10-point multi-touch is suitable for demanding work environments in industry, automation, and mechanical engineering.
The AD15 combines a high-brightness LCD panel with optical bonding, automatic brightness adjustment, a robust display surface, and a metal housing. The front of the monitor is protected to IP65 and NEMA 4.
An integrated 8-megapixel front camera extends the range of applications when connected to a suitable external Edge PC-BOX. This allows the monitor to be used as an operator and display terminal for AI-supported applications, visual identification, and industrial human-machine interfaces.
The 15.6-inch LCD panel has a native resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels in 16:9 format. With a maximum brightness of 1000 cd/m², the display remains clearly readable even in brightly lit production areas.
The automatic dimming function adjusts the display brightness to the ambient lighting conditions. The control range confirmed by CVC extends from approximately 30 to 1000 nits. This allows the display to be operated appropriately in both bright working environments and dimly lit areas.
A contrast ratio of 1000:1 and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and vertically support consistent image reproduction. According to the manufacturer, the LED backlight is designed for a service life of up to 50,000 hours.
With Optical Bonding, the air gap between the display panel and cover glass is replaced by an optically transparent bond. This reduces internal reflections and improves readability in strong ambient light.
The display surface additionally features an anti-glare coating (AG), an anti-fingerprint coating (AF), and UV-resistant properties. This combination reduces unwanted glare and facilitates use in everyday industrial work environments.
The front offers a surface hardness of 7H and impact resistance to IK07. The IP65 and NEMA 4 protection applies specifically to the front of the monitor, not to the entire housing including all connectors.
The integrated PCAP touchscreen detects up to ten simultaneous touch points and enables direct operation of industrial user interfaces, machine visualizations, and interactive applications.
According to the manufacturer, the touch surface also supports operation with suitable gloves. This makes the monitor particularly suitable for workplaces where employees wear protective gloves during operation.
Typical applications include machine operator panels, HMI terminals, production control systems, interactive information systems, and custom industrial PC solutions.
The Lilliput AD15 features an integrated 8-megapixel front camera and a microphone. The camera can be activated and used in conjunction with a suitable external Edge PC-BOX for visual recognition and interaction applications.
With appropriate external computing hardware and software, applications such as facial recognition, worker authorization, AI-supported image analysis, and interactive operating concepts can be realized.
Important: The AD15 does not contain an independent AI computing unit. Facial recognition, identification procedures, and other AI functions are not provided by the monitor alone, but require a suitable external edge computing system and the appropriate application software.
HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA are available for video connectivity. HDMI and DisplayPort support input signals up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz, which are then displayed at the native Full HD resolution of the display.
Four USB-A connectors and one USB-B connector enable the connection of compatible USB devices or a host system. This allows the monitor to be integrated into industrial computing and control environments.
For audio, an integrated microphone, two speakers, and a 3.5 mm jack connector are available.
