AVMATRIX TS3019-6 Wireless Tally System 6 Cameras
433 MHz tally set with GPIO, USB-C and RS-485
article number: 12419 | manufacturer number: TS3019-6 | EAN/UPC: 6971118001569
The AVMATRIX TS3019-6 is a wireless tally system for multi-camera productions with six tally lights and a central tally box. It is particularly suited for productions with multiple camera positions where camera operators, directors, and production teams need to clearly identify at all times which camera is currently on program and which camera is being prepared as preview.
The 6-unit set is ideal for larger livestreams, studio setups, events, sports productions, churches, conference rooms, and mobile control rooms. Compared to smaller tally sets, it provides more lights right out of the box for more extensive camera configurations, while remaining expandable to up to 16 tally lights.
With six tally lights, typical camera setups with main camera, side cameras, detail camera, audience camera, or PTZ positions can be clearly identified. The red and green indicators support clear communication between the director and camera team without requiring additional voice commands for every switch.
Tally signals are transmitted wirelessly in the 433 MHz range. With a clear line of sight, ranges of up to 200 m are possible. This makes the TS3019-6 suitable for larger stages, event venues, sports halls, churches, or outdoor productions where cameras are not positioned directly next to the control room.
The tally box offers multiple interfaces for different production environments. Via GPIO, the system can be used with AVMATRIX video mixers and many other mixers or tally converters. Via USB-C, connection to vMix is possible. RS-485 and RS-232 are available for wired tally connections and PTZ passthrough.
Each tally light features front and rear indicators. This allows both the camera operator and people in front of the camera to see the current status. The brightness of the indicators is adjustable in four levels, so the system can be adapted to bright stages, dark studios, or unobtrusive conference situations.
Signal strength and battery status are displayed on the tally lights. Power is supplied either via USB-C or via an 18650 Li-ion battery. This allows the lights to be powered from a fixed source or used wirelessly directly on a camera, tripod, or rig.

Questions & Answers▲
How many cameras can the AVMATRIX TS3019-6 support?
The set includes six tally lights and can be expanded to support up to 16 tally lights in total. This makes it suitable for both standard six-camera setups and larger productions requiring additional camera positions.
What wireless frequency does the tally system use?
Tally signals are transmitted wirelessly in the 433 MHz frequency range. Under clear line-of-sight conditions, a transmission range of up to 200 meters is achievable.
What interfaces does the tally box provide?
The tally box is equipped with GPIO, USB-C, RS-485, and RS-232 interfaces. This allows integration with a wide range of video mixers, tally converters, PTZ systems, and software such as vMix.
Can this tally system be connected to vMix?
Yes. Connection to vMix is supported via the USB-C interface on the tally box, enabling direct software-based tally control without additional adapters.
Is the system compatible with video mixers from other manufacturers?
The GPIO interface allows connection to AVMATRIX video mixers as well as many third-party mixers and tally converters. RS-485 and RS-232 further extend compatibility for wired tally workflows.
What do the colors on the tally lights indicate?
Red indicates that the camera is currently live on program. Green indicates that the camera is selected as preview and will be cut next. This gives camera operators and directors a clear visual reference at all times.
Are the tally lights visible from both the front and rear?
Yes. Each tally light features indicators on both the front and the rear, so the signal is visible to the camera operator behind the camera as well as to the director and crew facing the camera.
Is the TS3019-6 suitable for outdoor productions?
Yes. The 433 MHz wireless transmission with a range of up to 200 meters under line-of-sight conditions makes it well suited for outdoor events, sports productions, and large venues where cameras are positioned at a distance from the control room.
What types of productions is this tally system designed for?
It is designed for multi-camera productions including livestreams, studio setups, live events, sports broadcasts, church productions, conference rooms, and mobile control room workflows where six or more camera positions need to be managed simultaneously.
Can PTZ cameras be connected to this system?
Yes. The RS-485 and RS-232 interfaces support PTZ passthrough, allowing PTZ camera control signals to be passed through the tally box alongside tally communication.
Does the system require a wired connection between the tally box and each camera?
No. Tally signals are transmitted wirelessly via 433 MHz, so no cable runs between the tally box and individual camera positions are required. Wired connections via RS-485 or RS-232 are available as alternatives where preferred.
How many tally lights are included in the box?
The set includes six tally lights along with one central tally box, providing everything needed to cover a six-camera production straight out of the box.
