It combines video switching, program output, multiview, USB video output, RTMP streaming, and recording functionality in a single device.
The video mixer processes HDMI signals up to 1920 x 1080/60p. An additional DisplayPort input is available, which can be used as an alternative to one of the HDMI inputs. The program output is delivered in Full HD up to 1080/60p.
Via USB Type-C, the AVMatrix HVS0401U operates as a UVC/UAC source and can therefore be used directly with software such as OBS, vMix, or XSplit. Additionally, the integrated RTMP encoder enables direct live streaming to compatible platforms.
Various transitions and effects are available for live production. These include soft dissolves, wipes, and fade-to-black. The HVS0401U also supports picture-in-picture with freely selectable position and size.
The HDMI multiview output enables clear monitoring of the input signals and program signal. The tally output allows the active camera to be identified in compatible setups.
The metal housing protects the AVMatrix HVS0401U during mobile use and fixed installations. Thanks to its compact design, the video mixer is well suited for small production desks, mobile productions, and space-saving streaming setups.
