Jib Arm / Crane Body	Crane sections made of stiff, lightweight tubes are precision machined and powder coated before assembly and quality testing. The upper extension section has a truss pattern cut into the sidewalls to maintain strength while minimizing weight and reducing air resistance in light breezes (Note: Never use a camera crane in windy conditions). The heavily reinforced, cable-tensioned design of the SnapCrane allows for greater reach without compromising stability or performance.
Pan / Tilt Base and Brake System	Our ultra-smooth, high-performance pan/tilt base was built to demanding standards with oversized fasteners, sealed bearings, and solid construction for a remarkably stable pivot point. Superior design, proud craftsmanship, and the best components set this pan/tilt base apart from those of other crane systems (it is also a significant upgrade over the QuickJibs). Our brake system uses a heavy-duty plate at the crane swivel section and a variable brake mechanism built into the right stator of the pan/tilt base. This system is designed to generate considerable variable resistance and hold any position, yet it is forgiving enough to slide under extreme force that might otherwise topple a boom with a lock brake system.
Machined Dovetail Joints	The dovetail joint allows for a quick, extremely secure tool-free connection with redundant safety locks. A robust stainless steel lock (with internal safety catch) clamps the joint from above, while a second knurled screw ensures a firm and secure fit from below.
Deluxe Quick-Release Pins	At the pivot points, rust-free aircraft-grade bolts of the highest quality and strength are used, secured by a connector to prevent them from being lost. These T-handle pins are the best there are, and they represent an upgrade over those used on the QuickJib.
Cables and Couplings	Our modular cable system enhances the stability and rigidity of the crane while reducing overall weight by allowing us to use a single row of compact, lightweight tubes for the main arm. The high-quality cable tensioning system keeps the SnapCrane taut, firm, and easy to control. The smoothly coated, corrosion-resistant cables are easy to handle and last a lifetime. Marine-grade stainless steel hardware is used exclusively throughout the SnapCrane to ensure long-term field reliability.
Crane Case	Comes standard with VariZoom's new, lightweight and robust soft case (hard case optional). This case has three reinforced handles (middle and both ends) along with a robust shoulder strap, thick padding, and rubber feet. It can also be used for other jibs. Interior dimensions approx. 58" × 11" × 10"; exterior 59" x12" x11"; weight 4.9 lbs. Also available is the optional rolling case for ultimate protected transport. DCR100 Dolly	Our heavy-duty dolly features a wide spread, robust solid rubber tires, foot brakes, and a positive leg locking system that securely captures our TCR100 crane tripod. Includes padded carrying case.
TCR100	The TCR100 was specifically designed for use with our DCR100 dolly. Safety and strength are top priorities: The TCR100 uses a solid machined base plate (not molded), special heavy tubes, and oversized leveling feet for an ultra-stable design that will never stall or fail when properly used with the DCR100 dolly. With anodized aluminum, stainless steel fasteners, and solid brass bushings, the TCR100 will last a lifetime.
