The Quick Jib gives you many of the features of the safety crane at an affordable price. With the Quick Jib you get an economical yet secure captive clamping system for extending the boom, along with lanyard-attached, rustproof aircraft pins for quick assembly. The QuickJib is a professional, tool-free jib arm that can be installed quickly and safely. The QuickJib, like all of our products, was developed for years of trouble-free and reliable operation in the field. With great attention to detail, we have created a tool that generations will treat with care. - VZMC100 Remotehead - More crane operators choose VariZoom heads to complement their cranes/booms than any other remote head on the market. - Jib Arm - The QuickJib selectively uses industrial powder coating and anodizing for durable cosmetics, with stainless steel fasteners. The sleek QuickJib outperforms the competition by featuring less drag using a four-arm support system (never used in high wind conditions) as cantilever arms. The QuickJib mounts on any 100mm tripod, although for safety reasons we only recommend non-telescoping legs.
- In addition, our Quick Extension Kit can be assembled in minutes without any tools, unlike more complicated systems that require multiple tools and bolts to attach their extensions. The extension kit fits the standard QuickJib with our Captive Clamp Joint system, which uses two ergonomic, high-torque hand knobs to compress the captive clamps, making the connection rock-solid.
- Brake System - The VariZoom braking system uses a heavy-duty plate that is firmly connected to the panning area. The brake compression system is integrated into the left stator of the pan/tilt base and is designed to produce significant, adjustable resistance but has enough tolerance to slide under extreme force that could otherwise overturn a parking brake boom system.
- Locking Pins - High quality and strength stainless aircraft bolts are used at the pivot points, which are secured by a lanyard to prevent them from being lost.
- Tilt Mechanisms - Camera platform and tilt base connect the boom arm with stainless aircraft pins inserted through sealed radial ball bearings on the tilt base and heavy duty plain bearings on the camera platform, resulting in quiet, smooth movement. The camera platform also features a built-in spirit level for quick reference and adjustment.
- Telescoping Counterweight Section - telescopic weight arm with up to 3 feet for tremendous flexibility. Extend the arm to reduce the weight needed, shorten it to work in tighter spaces, or simply adjust it to fine-tune the counterweight.
- DCR100 Dolly - Our heavy-duty dolly features a generous spread and positive leg locking system that securely holds our TCR100 crane tripod.
- TCR100 Crane Tripod - Our purpose-built crane tripod is the only tripod we recommend for use with any crane, regardless of brand. We recommend never using a telescoping or collapsible tripod under a crane, no matter how small. When carrying an expensive camera on a boom elevated above other valuable equipment or people, it is simply a no-brainer to eliminate all risks and use a single section tripod instead of a telescopic type.
- TheTCR100 crane tripod is manufactured and manufactured in-house and is specifically designed for use with the DCR100 dolly.
