- Jib Arm - The QuickJib selectively uses industrial powder coating and anodizing for lasting cosmetics, with stainless steel fasteners. The sleek QuickJib outperforms the competition with less air resistance using a four-arm support system (never use in high wind conditions) in windy conditions as cantilever arms would. The QuickJib is mounted on any 100mm tripod, although we recommend only non-telescoping legs for safety reasons.
- In addition, our Quick Extension Kit can be attached in minutes with absolutely no tools, unlike more complicated systems that require multiple tools and bolts to attach their extensions. The extension set fits the standard QuickJib with our Captive Clamp Joint System, which uses two ergonomic, high-torque hand knobs to squeeze the unlosable clamps together, making the connection rock solid.
- Braking System - The VariZoom braking system uses a heavy-duty plate that is firmly connected to the pan area. The brake compression system is integrated into the left stator of the pan/tilt base and is designed to add significant variable resistance but makes enough mistakes to slide under extreme force that could otherwise overturn a parking brake boom system.
- Locking Pins - High-quality, high-strength stainless steel aircraft bolts are used at the pivot points, secured by a connector to prevent them from being lost.
- Tilting Mechanisms - Camera platform and tilt base connect the boom arm with stainless steel aircraft pins, introduced through sealed radial ball bearings at the tilt base and high-performance plain bearings at the camera platform, resulting in quiet, smooth motion. The camera platform also features a built-in spirit level for quick reference and adjustment.
