- Carrying vest for weight distribution across the body
- Sled for mounting and balancing the camera
- Spring arm for stabilisation and weight relief
- Monitor for direct control of the recording
- Battery system to power the monitor
- Optionally available with Sony V-Lock, Anton Bauer or NP1 plate, each without battery
- Large spring set for adaptation to different camera weight classes
- Training DVD in PAL or NTSC
- Transport case with wheels
The VariZoom VZGT is suitable for film, video, event and production applications where camera movements need to be executed as smoothly and controlled as possible. Thanks to its flexible adaptation to various camera weights, the system can be used with a wide range of camera setups.

Questions & Answers▲
What camera weight range is the VariZoom VZGT designed to support?
The system is designed for cameras weighing approximately 0.9 to 7 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of camera setups from smaller mirrorless cameras to heavier professional video cameras.
What components are included in the complete system?
The package includes a carrying vest, a sled for mounting and balancing the camera, a spring arm for stabilisation and weight relief, a monitor for direct recording control, a battery system to power the monitor, a large spring set, a training DVD, and a wheeled transport case.
How does the vest and spring arm combination benefit the camera operator?
The vest and spring arm distribute the camera weight across the operator's entire body rather than placing the load on the arm alone. This allows longer and more controlled camera movements to be executed while significantly reducing fatigue and camera shake.
What battery plate options are available for the monitor power system?
The system is optionally available with a Sony V-Lock plate, an Anton Bauer plate, or an NP1 plate. All three options are supplied without a battery, so a compatible battery must be purchased separately.
What is the total transport weight of the system?
When packed in its transport case, the complete system weighs approximately 18 kg. The transport case comes with wheels to make transportation easier.
Is the system adaptable if I use cameras of different weights on different shoots?
Yes. The included large spring set allows the system to be adapted to different camera weight classes, so it can be reconfigured when switching between lighter and heavier camera setups within the supported weight range.
For which production environments is the VariZoom VZGT suitable?
The system is suitable for film, video, event and general production applications where smooth and controlled camera movements are required. It is well suited for any mobile camera work that demands stabilised footage over extended periods.
Does the system include any learning material for new users?
Yes, a training DVD is included with the system. It is available in either PAL or NTSC format, allowing users to learn the correct setup, balancing and operating techniques.
Is the monitor powered separately from the camera?
Yes, a dedicated battery system is included specifically to power the monitor, so the monitor operates independently from the camera's own power supply.
Does the sled allow for camera balancing adjustments?
Yes, the sled is designed for both mounting and balancing the camera. Proper balance is essential for effective stabilisation, and the sled provides the necessary adjustment capability to achieve this.
