The Lilliput PVM160S-E-FC is a 15.6-inch broadcast and live streaming monitor with 1200 nits brightness, and in this version it is supplied including a matching transport flight case. This makes the set particularly suitable for mobile productions, live events, streaming applications, recording setups, control rooms, and outdoor shoots.
The Full HD panel delivers a clear image with high brightness and a wide viewing angle. This keeps the monitor image clearly readable even in bright ambient light. HDR support with ST2084 and HLG enables more differentiated rendering of bright and dark image areas, supporting camera and production teams in evaluating footage directly on set.
The PVM160S-E is designed for modern live streaming workflows and supports push and pull streaming via various protocols. Streaming addresses can be configured via the web interface or imported via USB stick, provided the monitor and computer are operating on the appropriate network segment.
Via the LAN port, the monitor can be integrated into existing network infrastructures. NDI video signal transmission as well as PoE support are available depending on the version or option, extending the monitor for IP-based production environments.
The integrated SD card slot enables direct recording of incoming video signals on the monitor. For recording applications, various settings for bitrate, encoding, resolution, and frame rate are available. Recording files can be automatically segmented, which is particularly convenient for longer events or continuous recordings.
After recording, stored video files can be played back directly via the monitor menu. This allows recorded material to be reviewed immediately on location, without the need for an additional recorder or computer.
For camera work, directing, and technical image control, the PVM160S-E offers numerous monitoring tools. These include Waveform, Vectorscope, Histogram, False Color, Peaking, Level Meter, Exposure display, Pixel Zoom, Pixel-to-Pixel display, Markers, Timecode display, Check Field, H/V Delay, and Freeze function, among others.
The 3D LUT function allows loading custom LUT files in .cube format via USB. This enables log footage to be evaluated during production with a suitable preview LUT. Various log profiles as well as user-defined LUTs are supported.
The monitor offers 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 with loop outputs as well as network, USB, audio, and SD card connections. This allows it to be flexibly integrated into broadcast, streaming, camera, and production setups.
Power is supplied via DC 9–24 V. For mobile use, optional matching V-Lock or Anton-Bauer battery plates can be used. The rear panel offers mounting points for brackets, battery plates, or additional accessories.
In the PVM160S-E-FC version, a matching transport flight case is included in the scope of delivery. The flight case protects the monitor during transport, facilitates mobile use, and is suitable for production companies, rental houses, event technicians, streaming teams, and frequently changing locations.
This makes the Lilliput PVM160S-E-FC a practical all-in-one solution for professional monitoring, streaming, and recording applications where monitor and transport solution are needed together from the outset.

How bright is the display, and is it usable in outdoor or bright ambient light?
The panel reaches a peak brightness of 1200 nits, which keeps the image clearly readable even under demanding lighting conditions such as outdoor shoots or brightly lit studio environments.
Which HDR standards does the monitor support?
The monitor supports HDR playback and monitoring via ST2084 (PQ) and HLG, enabling differentiated evaluation of both bright highlights and dark shadow areas directly on set.
What video inputs are available on this monitor?
The monitor is equipped with 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs, covering the most common signal formats used in broadcast and live production environments.
Can the monitor record video signals directly without an external recorder?
Yes, the integrated SD card slot allows direct recording of incoming video signals on the monitor itself. Settings for bitrate, encoding, resolution, and frame rate can be configured, and recordings can be automatically segmented, which is useful for longer continuous events.
Is it possible to play back recorded footage directly on the monitor?
Recorded video files stored on the SD card can be played back directly through the monitor menu, allowing camera and production teams to review material immediately on location without needing an additional playback device.
