Lilliput K2 PTZ Controller with 5-Inch Touchscreen
Control up to 100 IP cameras, track recording and Tally-GPIO support
article number: 12632 | manufacturer number: K2 | EAN/UPC: 6950821604212
The LILLIPUT K2-N is a professional PTZ camera controller with an integrated 5-inch touchscreen and pre-activated NDI support. The system was designed for modern IP-based production environments and enables convenient control and preview of multiple PTZ cameras directly via the controller.
By combining a classic 4D joystick, touch operation, and direct video preview, the K2-N is ideally suited for live productions, streaming, event technology, broadcast applications, and hybrid production environments.
The controller supports up to 100 IP cameras and up to 255 presets. Camera groups allow complex setups to be organized clearly and recalled quickly.
Unlike the standard model K2, the K2-N is supplied with NDI support already included. This allows NDI-capable cameras and video streams to be integrated and monitored directly without any additional activation.
The integrated display enables real-time preview of NDI, RTSP, and ONVIF streams directly on the controller. This greatly simplifies camera control and reduces the need for additional control monitors.
The K2-N supports numerous control protocols such as ONVIF, VISCA over IP, VISCA, PELCO-D, and PELCO-P and can be operated via network as well as serial interfaces.
Thanks to RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485, seamless integration into existing PTZ and broadcast systems is possible.
In addition, extensive camera functions such as focus control, zoom speed, white balance, exposure, and preset management are available directly via the touch interface.
The integrated track recording function enables the recording and automatic repetition of pan, tilt, and zoom movements. Recurring camera movements can thereby be reproduced with precision.
Via the GPIO tally interface, the controller can be seamlessly integrated into professional video and switcher systems. This greatly facilitates coordinated live productions with multiple cameras.
The LILLIPUT K2-N is ideally suited for streaming studios, churches, conference rooms, sports productions, concerts, and professional multi-camera productions.
Power can be supplied flexibly via PoE or an external 12V power supply. The compact form factor and robust construction make the controller suitable for both fixed installations and mobile productions.

Questions & Answers▲
How many cameras can the Lilliput K2 PTZ Controller manage simultaneously?
The K2 supports control of up to 100 IP cameras over a single network. Cameras can be organized into groups of up to 10 units each, which helps maintain a structured overview in complex multi-camera setups.
Which control protocols does the K2 support?
For IP-based control, the K2 supports ONVIF and VISCA-IP, with NDI available as an optional protocol. For serial connections via RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485, it supports PELCO-D, PELCO-P, and VISCA. This wide protocol coverage allows integration with cameras from many different manufacturers.
Does the controller support PoE, and what does that mean for installation?
Yes, the K2 includes Power-over-Ethernet support. This means connected IP cameras can receive both data and power through a single network cable, which significantly reduces cabling complexity and makes installations in various locations more flexible.
How many presets can be stored on the K2?
The K2 allows storage of up to 255 presets. This makes it well suited for larger productions where multiple camera positions need to be recalled quickly and reliably during a live event or recording session.
Can the K2 display a live camera image directly on the controller?
Yes. The integrated 5-inch touchscreen can display real-time video previews from connected cameras via NDI (optional), RTSP, and ONVIF. Operators can monitor the camera feed directly on the device without requiring a separate external monitor.
What is the camera group function and how does it help in larger setups?
The camera group function allows operators to organize connected cameras into groups of up to 10 cameras each. This structured approach simplifies navigation and management in environments with many cameras, such as broadcast studios, conference centers, or large event venues.
Does the K2 support Tally and GPIO integration?
Yes, the K2 includes Tally-GPIO support. This allows it to communicate with compatible production switchers and signal systems, so camera operators receive clear on-air status information during live productions.
Which focus and zoom functions are available on the K2?
The K2 provides both autofocus and manual focus control, as well as zoom adjustment. These functions can be operated directly from the controller, giving operators hands-on control over image composition without accessing camera menus separately.
Is NDI support included as standard or does it require an upgrade?
NDI support is listed as optional on the K2. This applies both to the control protocol and to the live preview function via NDI on the touchscreen display. Buyers should confirm NDI availability with the retailer before purchase if this feature is required. The NDI model is nemad K2-N.
Is the K2 suitable for use in live broadcast productions?
Yes. The combination of real-time video preview, Tally-GPIO integration, multi-camera management, and fast preset recall makes the K2 a practical choice for live broadcast, streaming, and event production environments where quick and reliable camera control is essential.
