The SD1121-12G is a miniaturized 1×2 12G-SDI reclocking distribution amplifier from AVMATRIX designed specifically for professional broadcast and video production environments. The compact device enables the automatic detection of SD/HD/3G/6G/12G-SDI input signals and reliably distributes them to two outputs. Through integrated cable equalization and re-clocking technologies, the SD1121-12G supports extended cable ranges of up to 400m for SD, 200m for HD, 120m for 3G and 60m for 12G-SDI signals.
The Distribution Amplifier offers full compatibility with all common SDI formats from standard definition to 4K UHD. All SDI standards from 625i/525i to HD formats such as 1920×1080p/i and 1280×720p up to 2K Cinema formats 2048×1080p are supported. For modern 4K workflows, the device processes both 3840x2160p and 4096x2160p signals at various frame rates from 23.98 to 60 fps. Color support includes RGB 4:4:4, YUV 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 as well as XYZ 4:4:4 in 10-bit and 12-bit precision.
The SD1121-12G features one 75Ω BNC SDI input and two 75Ω BNC SDI outputs, which are fully compatible with ASI signals. This makes the device particularly valuable for broadcast applications where both video and data signals must be distributed. Power is supplied via a micro-USB port with a voltage range of 5-5.5V with a maximum consumption of 1.5W. The device is supplied with a 5V USB power supply and mounting brackets and offers a 3-year manufacturer's guarantee for long-term investment security in professional production environments.
