The VariZoom VZZGFB ZERO Gravity is a professional pan-tilt tripod head with mechanically adjustable camera balance and flat mounting base (flatbase). After precise adjustment of the camera's center of gravity, the camera can be panned and tilted with virtually no effort.
The special feature of the ZERO Gravity system is its self-holding tilt position: once correctly balanced, the camera remains in any desired position without locking, arresting, or continuously holding the operating handles.
The camera is simply moved to the desired position and released. Two separate operating handles enable controlled horizontal and vertical camera movements.
Unlike the VariZoom VZZG with 75mm/100mm bowl mount, the VZZGFB features a flat mounting base. This version is intended for compatible tripods and camera crane systems with a flatbase receiver.

Questions & Answers▲
How does the ZERO Gravity System of the VariZoom VZZGFB work?
Through horizontal and vertical adjustment, the camera's center of gravity is aligned with the tilt axis. Once the balance is correctly set, the camera remains in any desired tilt position without locking. It can be moved with virtually no effort and then simply released.
What distinguishes the VariZoom VZZGFB from the VZZG?
Both tripod heads use the same ZERO Gravity balancing system. The VZZGFB features a flat mounting base (flatbase) for compatible tripods and camera crane systems. The VZZG, on the other hand, is equipped with a combined 75-mm/100-mm bowl mount.
Does the camera balance need to be readjusted after changing accessories?
If the camera's center of gravity changes due to a lens swap or additional accessories, the balance may need to be readjusted. The self-holding tilt position only works reliably when the camera is correctly balanced.
