For which lenses is the VariZoom VZPROF suitable?

What does dual-variable zoom control mean?
The dual-variable system combines a pressure-sensitive zoom rocker with a speed dial. The rocker controls the zoom speed using finger pressure, while the speed dial limits the maximum speed in advance. This allows very fine and reproducible zoom movements to be achieved.
What exactly does the speed dial do?
The speed dial can be used to limit the maximum zoom speed in advance. This means that the zoom rocker can be operated sensitively within this framework without accidentally causing movements that are too fast.
What is the ramping function?
The ramping function results from the combination of the pressure-sensitive zoom rocker and speed dial. This allows you to control zoom in and out with gently starting and stopping speed curves, which is particularly useful for cinematic recordings.
What material is the housing made of?
The housing is made of aluminum and is therefore particularly robust and durable. The handle also has a rubberized surface for a secure hold.
On which camera setups can the remote control be mounted?
The VZPROF is optimized for use on tripods, cranes, gimbals and shoulder rigs. The improved clamping mechanism allows secure attachment to pipes with a diameter of up to 31 mm.
