The NovaStar MCTRL700 is a professional LED display controller for NovaStar LED walls in rental, event, and fixed installation applications. Compared to smaller control boxes, the MCTRL700 offers six Gigabit Ethernet outputs, making it suitable for LED walls with higher pixel counts or more complex configurations.
The MCTRL700 supports both DVI and HDMI input and processes input signals up to 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz. Compatible NovaStar receiving cards are driven via the six RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet outputs. Each Ethernet port can load up to 650,000 pixels, making the controller flexibly deployable for professional LED walls, stage productions, live events, sports venues, and control rooms.
Multiple MCTRL700 controllers can be cascaded via the UART IN/OUT interfaces. This allows multiple units to be operated together in larger LED systems. Additionally, HDMI OUT and DVI OUT are available for signal looping, which simplifies the setup of extensive installations.
The NovaStar MCTRL700 is designed as a 1U rack unit intended for horizontal installation or operation. Thanks to the integrated power supply, front-panel status indicators, and rear-panel connections, the controller integrates easily into racks, equipment cabinets, and mobile LED wall systems.
In combination with NovaLCT and the NovaStar calibration platform, the MCTRL700 supports pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration. This allows color and brightness variations of individual LEDs to be reduced, achieving a more uniform image on the LED wall.
