The Lilliput BM281-4KS is a 28-inch monitor designed for broadcast, studio, control room and production applications. Its large 3840 x 2160 pixel display is suitable for image monitoring in camera, video and multi-source workflows.
The monitor can be used with a wide range of signal sources, including professional cameras, camcorders, DSLR and mirrorless cameras, video switchers and playback devices. The large 4K panel provides a clear overview for control room, production and technical image monitoring applications.
The BM281-4KS offers selectable color space options including Native, Rec.709 and custom settings. This allows the display to be adapted to different production requirements and workflows.
HDR support provides more differentiated reproduction of bright and dark image areas. For color-critical applications, the monitor can be integrated into suitable calibration and color management workflows.
The integrated 3D LUT function allows custom .cube files to be loaded via USB. This makes it possible to use different looks, preview LUTs or customized color profiles directly on the monitor.
This function helps camera and production teams evaluate Log footage and preview the intended image appearance during production.
The monitor provides a range of inputs including 3G-SDI with loop output, HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4, DVI, VGA and a Tally connection. This allows the BM281-4KS to be integrated flexibly into broadcast, studio and production environments.
The Quad View function enables several input signals to be displayed simultaneously. This is particularly useful for multi-camera productions, control room applications and setups using multiple playback sources.
Various monitoring and assist functions are available for image evaluation, including Focus Peaking, False Color, audio level display, Waveform, Histogram, exposure functions, Check Field, Timecode display, markers and Quad View.
Frequently used tools can be assigned to customizable function buttons for quick access. A rotary control provides convenient adjustment of important image and audio parameters directly on the monitor.
The BM281-4KS offers connection and mounting options for both mobile and fixed installations. These include a V-Lock battery mount, an XLR power connection and VESA 75/100 mm mounting holes.
For audio monitoring, the monitor provides stereo audio connections, integrated speakers and a headphone output. Depending on the application, the BM281-4KS can be used in studios, control rooms, outside productions or mobile production environments.
Optional mounting brackets further extend the installation options for the monitor.
