Lilliput BM281-4KS 28-inch 4K Broadcast Monitor

The Lilliput BM281-4KS is a 28-inch monitor for broadcast, studio, director, and production applications. The large display with 3840 x 2160 pixels is suitable for image monitoring in camera, video, and multi-source workflows.

The monitor can be used with various signal sources such as professional cameras, camcorders, DSLR and mirrorless cameras, video mixers, or playback devices. The large 4K panel provides a clear overview for directing, production, and technical image monitoring.

The BM281-4KS offers adjustable color space options such as Native, Rec.709, and custom settings. This allows the display to be adapted to different production requirements and workflows.

HDR support enables a more nuanced representation of bright and dark image areas. For color-critical applications, the monitor can be integrated into appropriate calibration and color management workflows.

The integrated 3D LUT function allows loading custom .cube files via USB. This enables different looks, preview LUTs, or customized color profiles to be used directly on the monitor.

This function supports camera and production teams in evaluating log footage and monitoring the desired image look during production.

The monitor offers various inputs, including 3G-SDI with loop output, HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4, DVI, VGA, and a tally connection. This allows the BM281-4KS to be used flexibly in broadcast, studio, and production environments.

The Quad-View function enables the simultaneous display of multiple input signals. This is useful for multi-camera productions, director applications, or setups with multiple playback sources.

Various monitoring and assist functions are available for image control, including Focus Peaking, False Color, audio level display, Waveform, Histogram, exposure functions, Check Field, timecode display, markers, and Quad-View.

Frequently needed tools can be quickly accessed via freely assignable function buttons. A jog dial makes it easy to adjust important image and audio parameters directly on the monitor.

The BM281-4KS offers connection options for both mobile and stationary applications. These include a V-Lock battery connection, an XLR power connector, and VESA 75/100 mm mounting holes.

A power supply is included in the scope of delivery. Desktop feet are also included to operate the monitor without a flight case.

For audio monitoring, stereo audio connections, built-in speakers, and a headphone output are available. Depending on the application, the monitor can be used in studios, at director positions, on location shoots, or in mobile production environments.

Optionally available mounting brackets further extend the monitor's range of possible applications.
