The Lilliput BM120-4KS is a compact 12,5" 4K broadcast monitor in a robust case system. It is suited for control rooms, camera shading, mobile productions, studio use, and technical signal monitoring. By combining a UHD display, professional video connections, and integrated analysis functions, the monitor is a practical solution for set, OB van, live production, and field monitoring.
In contrast to set variants with an additional tripod mount, this version focuses on the monitor in a transport case with V-Mount preparation. This makes the BM120-4KS particularly suitable for users looking for a protected, portable monitoring solution without a fixed tripod configuration.
The 12,5" IPS panel offers a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and enables detailed control of framing, sharpness, contrast, and color reproduction. With 400 cd/m² brightness, 1500:1 contrast, and a wide viewing angle, the monitor is suitable for many typical production environments.
HDR support assists in evaluating modern image signals with extended dynamic range. This is especially useful when a reliable signal preview is needed on set, in the control room, or during technical monitoring.
Practical monitoring tools are available for the technical evaluation of the video signal. These include waveform, vectorscope, histogram, focus peaking, false color, exposure display, and timecode display, among others. These functions assist camera operators, video engineers, and directors in monitoring exposure, color, sharpness, and signal quality.
3D LUT support enables a customized preview for different looks and color workflows. With Quad View, multiple input signals can be displayed simultaneously on the screen, making the BM120-4KS interesting for multi-camera setups, signal comparisons, and monitoring stations.
The Lilliput BM120-4KS offers multiple inputs for professional and semi-professional video sources. In addition to 3G-SDI / HD-SDI, four HDMI inputs and DisplayPort are available. This allows the monitor to be combined with cameras, vision mixers, players, recorders, computers, and other signal sources.
The HDMI inputs support 4K signals up to 60 Hz or up to 30 Hz depending on the connection. Full HD signals can be processed via SDI and looped through via the SDI output. This keeps the monitor flexibly integrable into existing broadcast, studio, and live workflows.
The integrated case system protects the monitor during transport and facilitates quick setup at the deployment location. This makes the BM120-4KS particularly interesting for mobile control rooms, rental companies, production companies, training rooms, technical workstations, and temporary installations.
Depending on the setup, power can be supplied via a suitable external power supply or via V-Mount batteries. This allows the monitor to be used in locations where a fixed mains power supply is not directly available at the workstation.
