The Kiloview E3 is a professional video encoder of the latest generation that combines high performance and flexible application options in a compact device. It supports HDMI inputs up to 4Kp30, 3G-SDI inputs up to 1080p60 as well as USB video sources and encodes video signals in H.264 (AVC) and H.265 (HEVC) formats.
The E3 can encode HDMI or SDI video signals independently or combine both signals in picture-in-picture (PIP) or picture-by-picture (PBP). This makes the device ideal for live productions, streaming applications and professional broadcast workflows.

The Kiloview E3 enables encoding of video signals via both the 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs. Both video sources can be encoded individually or output combined as PIP (Picture-in-Picture) or PBP (Picture-by-Picture). Alternatively, both inputs can be encoded simultaneously in up to 1080p60, enabling high-quality live streaming production with multiple sources.
For IP-based video transmission, the Kiloview E3 supports both the efficient HEVC codec (H.265) and H.264 (AVC). HEVC can save more than 50% bandwidth with the same image quality. The encoder supports a wide range of streaming protocols such as NDI HX3, NDI HX2, SRT, RTMP, RTMPS, HLS, TS over UDP, RTP, RTSP and ONVIF.
The HDMI input supports resolutions up to 4Kp30, while the 3G-SDI input processes signals up to 1080p60. Thanks to the powerful streaming engine, the E3 can stream on up to 16 platforms simultaneously. This is done via a mainstream with up to 8 channels in 1080p and a substream with up to 8 channels in 720p. The bit rate can be flexibly adjusted and can reach up to 100 Mbps.
In addition to pure video encoding, the E3 offers extensive video editing functions. This includes image rotation, cropping and the display of individual overlays such as graphics, text or OSD elements. These features enable flexible applications for webcasts, streaming productions and professional broadcast workflows.
