The Hoodman HD-450 sun hood is designed for 4-inch viewfinders and monitors in 16:9 format. It reduces disruptive lateral light and improves display readability during outdoor shoots, in bright studio environments, and during mobile productions.
The hood is suitable for 4-inch HD monitors in 16:9 format and is compatible with Canon camcorders and cameras including the XF305, XF300, XF105, XF100, and C200.
Attachment is achieved via two sewn-in rubber bands with adjustable velcro fasteners. This allows the sun hood to be mounted quickly, removed without residue, and used without permanent modifications to the device.
For transport, the sun hood can be folded flat and stored in a space-saving manner. It is made of durable nylon material with stabilizing plastic inserts.
