The jump upgrade is aimed at users of EDIUS 2 to 9 as well as owners of the Neo, Home Edition or older education versions. They can switch directly to EDIUS 11 Pro without having to purchase intermediate versions.
Do I have to own a previous version in order to use the Jump Upgrade?
Yes, the Jump Upgrade is intended exclusively for authorized owners of a qualified old version. Proof of license may be required upon activation.
How do I obtain the license after purchase?
The license is provided as a download version. The serial number will be sent by email after purchase.
Which Windows versions are supported?
Windows 10 64-bit version 21H2 or newer and Windows 11 are supported. Older Windows versions are not supported.
What processor requirements apply for the installation?
At least an Intel Core processor from the 5th generation or a comparable AMD is required CPU.
How much memory is required?
At least 8 GB of RAM is required. For editing 4K or 8K material, 16 GB of RAM or more is recommended.
How much free hard disk space is required for the installation?
At least 6 GB of free hard disk space is required for the installation. Additional memory for project data and media files should be planned separately.
Which graphics card is required?
The graphics card must support Direct3D 9.0c or newer and PixelShader Model 3.0 or newer. At least 2 GB of video memory is recommended for 4K editing, and at least 1 GB for SD and HD.
Is an internet connection permanently required?
An internet connection is required for initial activation and for regular license checks. A permanent connection is not absolutely necessary for ongoing editing.

The software is available in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese, among others. Which languages are specifically activated can vary depending on the serial number.
Which sound card is required for operation?
A sound card with WDM driver support is required. Without a compatible audio driver, the software cannot operate properly.
