The Eartec UltraLITE UL422 HD is a wireless full-duplex intercom mix set for 4 people. It combines single-sided and double-sided headsets in one system and is suitable for teams where different workplaces have different environmental hearing and noise isolation requirements.
The UL422 HD combines two single-sided and two double-sided Headsets. This makes it suitable for teams in which part of the crew needs to remain open to ambient noise, while other positions communicate in a more shielded manner. Transmitters and receivers are integrated directly into the headsets, so that no separate beltpacks are required.

What distinguishes the master headset from the remote headset?
The master headset controls the system and is the central device in the set. The remote headsets connect to the master and are intended for additional participants. The UL422-HD includes a one-sided master headset as well as one one-sided and two double-sided remote headsets.
Does a talk button have to be pressed when speaking?
No. The system works in full duplex operation, which means that all participants can speak and listen at the same time without having to press a talk button. Communication runs continuously like a normal conversation.
What is the range of the system?
The system achieves a range of up to 400 meters under favorable conditions. The actual range may be lower depending on the environment, structural conditions and sources of interference.
What advantage does the combination of single-sided and double-sided headsets offer?
Single-sided headsets leave one ear free so that ambient noise can be heard. Double-sided headsets cover both ears and provide greater insulation against external noise. The mix set makes it possible to equip team members with the right headset depending on their workplace and requirements.
How long does the battery last in operation?
With a fully charged battery set, operation for up to 6 hours is possible. The actual running time may vary depending on usage.
Are the batteries replaceable?
Yes, the lithium batteries are replaceable. The scope of delivery includes 4 batteries so that spare batteries can be kept charged for longer periods of use.
Which charger is included in the scope of delivery?
The set includes a 10-fold charger with which several batteries can be charged at the same time. This also makes it easy to prepare reserve batteries for the next use.
Which radio technology is used and is registration required?
The system uses DECT technology in the 1.9 GHz frequency range. This area is registration and fee-free, so the system can be operated without official approval.
Can the microphone be muted?
Yes. The microphone automatically mutes when the microphone boom is raised. To reactivate, the arm is folded back into the speaking position.
