The AVMATRIX DE20-4K-NDI bridges traditional HDMI signal paths with modern IP-based production environments. The compact device can be used as both an encoder and a decoder, making it suitable for flexible video, streaming and broadcast setups.
Various signal sources can be integrated, transmitted and output again via HDMI, USB and network. Supported protocols include NDI|HX3, SRT, RTMP(S) and RTSP. The NDI licence is already included in the purchase price of this item.
The DE20-4K-NDI processes HDMI signals up to 4K60 and features an HDMI loopout for direct local monitoring of the input signal. This allows the image to be monitored at the production station without interrupting the actual signal flow.
Resolutions up to 4K30 are supported for encoding and decoding. With a data rate of up to 50 Mbps, the device enables high-quality image transmission for professional live and streaming applications.
HDMI sources can be converted into network streams, and IP streams can be output again as an HDMI signal. Additionally, USB cameras and USB video sources can be integrated into the workflow.
This makes the DE20-4K-NDI a versatile signal converter for hybrid production environments, PTZ camera installations, streaming workstations and mobile AV setups.
Live streams can be sent directly to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Vimeo or Zoom. A dedicated computer is not strictly required for pure streaming operation.
Streams can simultaneously be sent to two RTMP or SRT destinations. The integrated recording function enables recording of video up to 4K30 to USB storage or SD card.
Via USB, the DE20-4K-NDI can also be used as a driver-free capture device and is compatible with common software such as OBS Studio, vMix, VLC or Zoom.
For remote productions and camera installations, the device supports PTZ control via VISCA, IP and NDI, making it easy to integrate into modern PTZ and network video systems.
Additional features such as tally light, audio inputs and outputs, USB audio integration, and power supply via PoE or 12 V DC further extend its range of applications in studio, event and live production environments.
