Control of zoom, focus, and record start/stop is possible.

Most consumer and prosumer cameras from Sony and Canon have this mostly blue socket (2.5mm jack) integrated. In current models, this connection is often hidden in the AV socket. Through the VariZoom VZAV/LANC adapter, a LANC rear camera control can be connected to this socket.

The VZPGL rear camera control is made of solid aluminum and is accordingly robust. The VZPGL has the same electronics as the VariZoom VZPROL - but here in a narrow and ergonomically shaped grip form.
