The FineVideo FV-DVP-974S is a high-end 4-layer switcher, scaler, and converter.
The video processor features 6 video inputs, including 1 DisplayPort (DP), 1 HDMI 2.0, 2 HDMI 1.4, 1 DVI, and 1 SDI/USB. This comprehensively covers the requirements in both civilian and industrial sectors. All video inputs support quick switching and fade effects (fade in and out).
Three audio channels can be switched independently. Any audio channel can be assigned to any video channel. When switching video channels, audio-video synchronization is maintained.
The processor features 4 programmable video outputs with HDMI connectors. These two video signals can be programmed and output to an LED sending unit or a display.
The video processor allows seamless switching between channels, with a switch time adjustable from 0 to 1.5 seconds. Thanks to fade effects (fade in/out), the image can be smoothly blended onto the second screen when switching input channels. The quick switch function allows the video output to be updated immediately.
The video processor offers a variety of practical output resolutions with a maximum width of 3840 pixels. This makes it suitable for various dot matrix displays. Over 10 output resolutions are available and can be adjusted for pixel-perfect outputs.
A black screen is often required during a presentation. A special button for the black screen can be used to quickly turn off the image output.
During playback, the current image can be frozen to achieve a "pause" effect. While the image is frozen, inputs or lines can be changed without affecting the ongoing presentation.
The video processor features simple and practical functions for selecting image sections and full-screen display. Each input channel can independently define different sections and switch seamlessly. Users can set the size and position of the visible area for each channel - these partial or full-screen settings are retained when switching.
The video processor offers 10 user-definable presets where all parameters can be stored. These settings can be instantly recalled via quick-select buttons. This enables parameter backup and quick access during live events.
The video processor features a dual image processing module. A single core can process 30-bit scaling and output resolutions from 64 to 2560 pixels. Up to 10x image magnification is possible - up to a maximum size of 25,600 pixels. The integrated brightness control prevents brightness loss and ensures realistic color reproduction.
Thanks to instant storage technology, settings do not need to be manually saved after adjustment. The video processor automatically stores all parameters in the EEPROM. These are retained even after the device is turned off.
The processor uses ACC and ACM image filter modules for nonlinear color processing. This minimizes image loss and significantly improves color fidelity.
Via the RS232 or USB interface, the processor can be connected to a computer and controlled via software - e.g., for selecting the output resolution, audio switching, brightness adjustment, or signal selection.
